My friend is an attractive 26 year old woman. She has a busy life and has for a few years being doing online dating. I personally am against online dating but she enjoys it and has met some great ppl so I don’t say anything. Now she has been chatting to a guy for a few months and she says they get on well and a date was arranged for them to meet tomorrow. Originally the idea was they would go to the nearby Italian for a dinner date but he has just text her saying this:
“hey have been thinking about our date tomorrow. I think we should have it at mine instead. I’m a very good chef and it would be more private. Let me know what you think”
Thing is she thinks this is GOOD! She says she hates restaurants anyway and it would be better to go to his house. So the date tomorrow is arranged. However I am really concerned. I feel bad to presume that any man wanting to cook a meal for a lady at his must be a psyco rapist but there are dangers in this. Plus why would a normal man want to bring a lady he has never met to his! My boyfriend said it’s dodgy and rude of that guy to even suggest such a thing. Am my bf and I right to be concerned or is this quite normal these days?
